- A unique DVD from 2000, the first of Abyss in its special edition, which is a port of the Laserdisc master.

- Presents the film without the digital retouching carried out for the new UHD version.

- There are two editions of the DVD in this release. The first, sold here, has a 5.1 soundtrack, but, uniquely, because of seamless branching, this 5.1 mix mixes some dialogues, which normally differ between the theatrical version and the special edition! This problem was corrected in the next edition, except that the 5.1 is now gone! This makes this 5.1 a unique mix.

- This DVD is a port of the Laserdisc transfer, in scope, but not anamorphic. You have to zoom in for the image to fill the screen.

- Includes a leaflet with chapters, notes etc.

- Double DVD packed with bonus features.

- Used. Very good general condition.
