- John Carpenter's cult film in its most sought-after remaster, colorized by Adams Adams (the colorist on James Cameron's T2 and Titanic) from an interpositive, approved by cinematographer Dean Cundey. For many, only this edition captures the film's autumnal colors and atmosphere.

- Includes a 5.1 VO remix by Chace from the original audio elements.

- The box set is a limited edition, numbered, THX-approved edition, with 2 DVD-9s, the theatrical version of the film on the first, and the uncensored TV version of the film, in CinemaScope, on the other. The first disc also includes a Pan & Scan version. All these versions have the same calibration.

- Includes the documentary Halloween Unmasked + other bonus trailers, radio spots etc.

- No. 21127. Includes the plastic rectangle that creates the holographic effect. Includes a postcard of Pleasance in the car with Nancy Stephens + chapter sheets from both discs. The postcard varies depending on the copy!

- This record is not common in Europe, where it has been imported very little.
